Dear,

We found some Micromirrors of the DLP9000X works wrong, that is when the DMD is operated, some Micromirrors can not be set to zero,

only Power float (power float through DLPC910) can take active, but when restart normal operation, those Micromirrors can not be set to zero again.

What may causes this ?

The faulty mirrors are always at fixed location，they are individual pixels.

Hello Linxin,

Is it possible to take a picture of what you are seeing? How may pixel are we talking about?

This will help in determining if this is a DMD/controller issue or something else.

Linxin, can you also provide details on the controller and DMD boards. Were they purchased from a third party or developed by yourselves ?

The controller board is developed by ourselves，the DMD board is puchased from a third party，our own DMD boards is under development.

Hello Linxin,

Could you take a picture of the actual DMD image in operation with all pixels turned off so that the ones that cannot be turned off show up on the screen.

Also, please take a picture of the back of the DMD so that we can identify it.

Hello Fizix，
The picture is just you wanted， as i mentioned before
1、power float the DMD，the bule dots disappeared，
2、project a 2560*1600*8bit frame， with all pixels value = 255
3、clear the 16 blockd of DMD using block clear operation
4、MCP on， the blue dots appears agian
Only Power float operation can recover the DMD.

Hello Linxin,

I was confused. It seems like these pixel are "off" and cannot be set to the "on" position.

The number of non-functioning mirrors exceeds the datasheet spec. Please contact the vendor that you purchased the DMD from to enquire about what can be done. When did you purchase the device?
