DLPLCR70UVEVM: how to use it with incoherent light source?

Hello,

I have a 365nm LED with 9nm of Bandwidth (FWHM), that I need to couple with this DMD device. However, the technical sheet suggests that when this micromirror device is coupled with incoherent light, a filter which nearly extinguishes all wavelengths below 363 nm must be used in the illumination path to the DMD. I am struggling in finding a suitable solution. 

Can you advise me on how I could solve my problem? What kind of filter would you suggest? 
My nominal LED intensity is 1400mW at 365nm. Would it be fine to use a filter that will allow me to have radiation below 363nm with a maximum intensity below 300mW?

    Typically these types of filters are a dichroic or a dielectric stack type and are called long pass filters.  You will almost certainly will have to have one custom tuned.  There are a number of companies that can make them.  Do a search for "custom optical long pass filters" to find something that serves your area. 

    I do not know the cost of a custom filter, but the off the shelf cost for filters near this wavelength are on the order of a couple of hundred dollars (US).

    Your other option is to operate without it, but you will be operating outside the recommended operating conditions, which are the terms of warranty.  So that if you do so, the DMD will not be covered.
