DLPLCR65NEVM: stripe on the mirror

I found a stripe on the mirror the first time I use it, as I showed in the picture. Can somebody help me with it? Thanks.

    Hello Zi,

    Welcome to the DLP section of the TI-E2E forums.

    This appears to be a micromirror Reset Block that is not connected or is poorly connected.  From the picture it appears to be Reset Block 1 (i.e. 2nd block):

    • Please remove the flex cable from the controller board and inspect the pads on the controller board for any debris or contamination and carefully clean as needed.
    • Also check the contacts on the end of the flex cable for debris or contamination and also clean as needed.
    • When reassembling do not over-tighten the screws and do not completely tighten one screw first.  Alternate half turns on each screw until both screws are snug.

    If this does not solve the issue then repeat this same thing at the DMD board to flex cable connection.

    Thanks. There is some debris on the pads of the flex cable. I cleaned it and now it works perfectly.
