DLP230KP: Reliability and efficiency

I have two questions regarding the reliability and efficiency of our DLP230KP.

What level of mechanical shock can the DLP230KP withstand? Do we have any data?

What is its transmission efficiency for 380nm?

Hello Jejomar,

Are they asking about the level of mechanical shock of the DLP230KP itself or of some type of assembled unit?

Note the DLP230KP is not designed for 380nm illumination. For wavelengths under 420nm our datasheet specifies no more than 0.68 mW/cm^2 is allowed. Therefore, please elaborate on the customer's application so we can determine if there is a better option.

Regarding the shock part, If you have any data on the part, or as part of any other system for shock survivability, that would be great. I have an application that it could see some strong shock pulses, so I might have to provide isolation/damping to protect it. Any data on the acceptable limits, would be great.

Regarding the 380nm illumination, I believe we can keep those levels below your limits.

The DMD was tested and qualified as follows:

Mechanical shock - 1500G, 0.5ms, 6 axis, 5 pulses

Vibration - 20G, 20-2000 Hz, All planes (X,Y,Z)

Acceleration - 10,000G, Y1 plane only
