Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC350
Hello,
What is the difference between DLP4500 and DLP4500A? Can DLP4500A directly replace DLP4500?
Thank you.

Hell Di,
Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.
DLPA4500A is a new version of DLP4500 DMD. It is optical compatible and will replace DLP4500. However, it does require the firmware update. The latest version of firmware available on the website does support DLP4500A DMD.
regards,
Vivek
Hi Vivek,
What will happen if we keep using the old firmware of DLPC350? Due to surface coating, it is hard for us to update the firmware of existing PCBA. We use pattern saved in flash only.
And will the new firmware support old version of DLP4500?
Best Regards,
Di
