Hi Peng,
From your description, it is not clear if GUI side problem or HW itself. Basically you mean to say even when HW is power-off GUI is showing connected? or HW status is showing wrong.
Can you provide more information about exact problem, i suggest to search in forum regarding connection issue, you could find a solution.
Regards,
SAnjeev
Dear Sanjeev,
Thanks for your reply. When the HW is powered off, the EVM status will show Not Connected. When the HW is powered on and the switch on the controller board is switched on, the EVM status shows Connected, Powered off. I got try to switch on and off at the switch, but the EVM status still shows Connected, Powered off. Then I try to reset the HW power and switch on the switch again, the EVM status show Connected, Powered off. May I know if HW problem, what will cause this issue? Thank you.

Hello Pang Weng Yeong,
I am suspecting that the issue might be caused due to firmware corruption. Can you reflash the firmware and let us know whether you are still seeing the issue or not.
Regards,
Mayank
Dear Mayank,
Where can I get the firmware? And how do I reflash the firmware? Thank you.
Regard,
Weng Yeong
Weng Yeong,
I am referring to the DLPC controller firmware which gets copied in the SPI flash chips in the EVM. You can find the firmware here- https://www.ti.com/tool/DLP4710EVM-LC
In order to reflash the firmware - you can use the update firmware functionality of the GUI (kindly look into Firmware >> Update firmware section for more info.)

Mayank
Dear Mayank,
When I use the GUI tool to flash the DLPC controller firmware, error message is pop out and the flash firmware process cannot be done.
At the event viewer it shown as below.
At the command log it shown as below.
What can i do to flash the DLPC controller board firmware?
Thank you.
Weng Yeong,
Please try flashing the firmware by keeping the switch in the off position and not in the on position. If the issue is due to firmware corruption, then this should address it. If it doesn't, then kindly install the GUI again and try doing the same.
Still, if the issue is not addressed, then I believe there is some problem with the hardware.
Regards,
Mayank
