DLPNIRSCANEVM: Determine Gas components concentration

Good day.

Our customer wanted to know if DLPNIRSCANEVM is able to  determine approximate concentrations of each component in a natural gas sample? And also how many components can it detect?

 He is interested in finding a 0-100% of each:

Methane

Nitrogen
CarbonDioxide
Ethane
Propane
Water
HydrogenSulfide
Hydrogen
CarbonMonoxide
Oxygen
iButane
nButane
iPentane
nPentane
Hexane
Heptane
Octane
Nonane
Decane
Helium
Argon
(all components will be normalized to total 100%)

    I want to reconfirm that you are referring to  the following EVM:

    www.ti.com/.../DLPNIRSCANEVM

    The DLPNIRSCAN EVM  has a very high signal to noise ratio 30,000:1. It can be used to solve similar problem.  I also want to state that it an evaluation module , not an end product or spectrometer. 

    The EVMs is intended for development purposive only.   If your customer's requirement is for a production use, then I would recommend that they contact our ecosystem partners like innospectra or a third-party solution providers like Keynote for an end product.

    Detecting concentration in natural gas -

    Capability to detect  concentration in natural gas will depend on the your system design and associated firmware/model.  TI has not developed a solution for this.  We do have several several ecosystem, partners who have expertise and have developed similar solution. You may want to contact them directly and  explore if could provide a solution. Some of the partners you may want to contact are:
