DLP9500: DLPA200 VOFFSET - DLP9500 VCC2

Hello,

DLP9500 should be used 2 DLPA200s. Reference schematic connects DLPA200 A side to DMD VCC2. Is there something of problem if DLPA200 B side is connected to VCC2 instead of DLPA200 A side?

    Is there a reason you are wanting to deviate from the schematic?  I am not sure if there would be any negative effect.

    My customer is going to develop the DLP9500. He asks the connection regarding VOFFSET because the description in datasheet has not been found.

    Hello Uryyy,

    The connections of the two DLPA200's are detailed in the DLPC410 Controller board documents as part of the Discovery 4100 platform. All of the EVM info can be found at this site: www.ti.com/.../DLPD4X00KIT.

    This design has been in production for quite a number of years, so that is why we did not have a specific answer to your previous question about switching the layout. In theory, one should be able to switch the DLPA200s as long as they are still correctly connected, but we have not done that at TI.

    Hopefully the Discovery documentation helps you and your customer.
