DLPLCRC410EVM: Connector conversion board for DLPLCRC410EVM

Part Number: DLPLCRC410EVM

Hello

I am working on building a video streaming system using a USB3.0 camera.
I found a USB3.0 host controller board which has a SAMTEC SEAF8 connector.
Since video signals are designed to go through the EXP connector of DLP4100, I need to prepare a connector conversion board.
The yellow part of the attached image is what I want to design.

Some of the signals from the USB3.0 host board are 1.8V and 3.3V.
As I read DLPU040A, I/O voltage of the FPGA on DLP4100 is 1.8V(Is my understanding correct?).
So, I think voltage level conversion for 3.3V signals is needed.

For 3.3V to 1.8V conversion, could you tell me what is a typical and Max output cullent values?

Thank you

  • Kawakami-san,

The Xilinx LX50 can be configured on the inputs.  You will need to check the Xilinx LX50 data sheet to see what the pins connected to the EXP connector I/O can be set to.  The data and SCTRL & DVALID lines are all LVDS.  The control signals are single ended and the data sheet is also listed in the pin table.  We do not have typical currents for a 3.3V to 1.8V convertor.
