DLPC900: DLPC900, starting in Pattern mode

Part Number: DLPC900

Is this restriction still in place:

I am trying to configure a InVision project to boot up into Pattern Mode and I'm hitting the same issue.

  • Hi Patrick,

Is your requirement to boot up in Prestored or Video pattern mode?

  • Shivakumar,

Thanks for getting back to me.  I want to boot up in video pattern mode.

  • Hello Patrick,

Video Pattern Mode requires that a Video signal has a sync lock before switching to Video Pattern Mode.

The reason it cannot start direct to Video Pattern Mode is that it cannot sync to Video signal without first configuring the system into Video Mode with the correct video port set on the input.

You can create a secondary batch file to be executed after the system has come up, but at this time it cannot be done as part of the internal run at start batch file.  We have tried putting a delay in the batch file after coming up in Video Mode then switching to Video Pattern Mode, but the delay stops all processes (including syncing), so it does not work.

If you want the system to start up completely automated (i.e. no outside connection) from what is in the Firmware Image, as far as I am aware that is not possible currently.

Shiva can correct me if this has been changed.
