DLPC3435: temperature read and RC_CHARGE not working

Hello,

We have a working projector design with DLPC3435 and DLPA2005. However, we have issue with temperature measurement. It does not seem to work.

According to documentation for DLPC3434 there is a command "Read System Temperature (D6h)". This commands always returns zero on DLPC3435.

According to this thread it is not included in the manual by a mistake: e2e.ti.com/.../dlpdlcr3010evm-g2-read-system-temperature

I have made some measurements on GPIO_10 (RC_CHARGE) and CMP_PWM but there is no modulation present.

Do i have to somehow enable this feature first in order to get temperature measurement?

    Ivo,

    Welcome to the E2E forums and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.

    The system temperature reading command requires a LUT to be installed to work. This LUT is dependent on the thermistor used with the system and its integration to the design.

    Would you be able to share information about your design? Is this based on an EVM reference design or original?

    Hello,

    ADC (comparator) side is the same as in DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2. Note that we DLPC3435 and DLPA2005.

    Thermometer connection is almost the same, just power is connected directly to 3v3.

    All passive components values are the same.
