DLP5530PGUQ1EVM: DLP5530PGUQ1EVM

Part Number: DLP5530PGUQ1EVM

There are the following problems after booting:
1. The brightness is very low (the computer setting has been turned on to the maximum)
2. The picture is reddish
3. The screen flickers
After replacing the LED driver board in the DLP5530 that we bought before, the above problems will be fine. Video 1 is the imaging effect after booting, and video 2 is the imaging effect after replacing the LED driver. I now ask TI to replace the LED driver. Please solve it as soon as possible.

  • Hello,

Please accept my E2E friendship request, and I will work with you via email to address this issue.

    Regards,

    Ross

  • 21 days ago, our company suggested that imaging problems were found after receiving the DLP5530PGUQ1EVM boot, and posted quality assessment posts on the TI E2E Chinese forum and English forum, and contacted the Chinese customer service in time to request the return of the product. TI can check Relevant records, in the E2E English forum, at the request of your company's technical staff to communicate and solve this problem by email, our company also actively cooperates. Our company also provided corresponding video evidence for the imaging problem of the product. As of yesterday, the result of the communication and processing was that TI rejected our company’s return application. What is the reason for TI’s rejection? If the product sold has quality problems, it will not be processed. , Is TI such a hegemonic company that ignores customer needs and sells products regardless of quality? What's the point of our company spending more than 20,000 RMB to buy a bad thing back? Our company said that it was unacceptable to such a treatment result, and expressed strong dissatisfaction with TI's attitude in dealing with quality problems.

Our company's appeal is repeated again: request to return DLP5530PGUQ1EVM, immediately!

  • We apologize for this long process. The DLP Products team has been in direct contact with you via email since this post appeared on the this forum. Unfortunately there were some administrative barriers, and TI is investigating methods to simplify and shorten this process. Per the latest email yesterday, there are some final approvals needed within TI, and after these approvals go through, shipping instructions will be sent to you.

  • Your company did communicate with me about this issue via email, but it did not handle it. What our company wants is the processing result. Even after communicating for a year, if TI still refuses to return the goods to our company, does this communication make sense? Our company purchased TI’s DLP5530PGUQ1EVM back for use, not a display. It has been delayed for a month since we received the goods. Is TI responsible for the loss of time?

Please TI clearly inform us when we can return the defective product to your company and exchange the DLP5530PGUQ1EVM with no quality problem to our company?

  • Please confirm the processing progress, thank you!

  • Please confirm the processing progress, thank you!

  • The unit has been received, the driver board diagnosed / confirmed damaged, and we are working to prepare the shipment of a new unit. We will handle all future communication via email, so I will therefore close this thread. Thank you for your patience!
