Hello,

This is Jinyang and I am doing research for DMD development.

I would like to use LabVIEW to control and sync DMD to other hardware of my system. Could you please provide me some sample code of LabVIEW?

I promise I will never share the code for any commercial purpose. I really appreciate it and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks,

Jinyang

  • Hello Jinyang,

Welcome to the DLP section of the TI-E2E Community.

Could you tell me what platform this is in reference to?  [i.e. D4100, Pico, LightCommander or LightCrafter]

    Fizix,

    I am using D4100.

    Thanks,

    Jinyang

  • In reply to Jinyang Liang:

    Jinyang,

For the D4100 platform, please request this code from the Design House that you purchased your kit from.  Please see this link --> DLP Design Houses

We route the requests through our Design Houses to ensure compliance with US export regulations.

    Fizix,

I request this information from you before and you sent me the LabVIEW code. Could you please do me a favor again?

    Thanks,

    Jinyang

  • In reply to Jinyang Liang:

    Hello Jinyang,

We since have changed our policy on providing this type of software through the E2E forums.  You will need to request it from one of the design houses.  They will be happy to provide it to you.  They should have it, but if not I will be happy to provide it to them.

Hi Fizix, I got the code from my designer house for the DMD 4100 but I have a problem when I run the vi, there is a error. it recognized the chip 0.55 XGA but it cannot load the images. The error out says: program_FPGA.vi  How I can fix it? or what I am missing.

    Cheers

     I forgot to mention, I am running the Int-Load_Run 2 Images.vi

    Thanks

  • In reply to MBAE:

    Hello MBAE,

What version of LabView are you running?  And what version of Windows are you running?

Also, did you unzip all of the files from the zip file into one directory and run the vi from that directory?

    Fizix

  • In reply to Fizix:

    Hi Fizix,

Yes I unzipped the files in one folder and run the vi from there. I have 2011, 2012 and 8.5 Labview version and is not working in any of those...

  • In reply to MBAE:

Hi Do you have any other suggestion why is not working on labview if it is working on DIscovery?
