  • Hello JayJay,

Please help me to understand what steps you have taken to troubleshoot this problem so far, have you tried replacing the DLPA200? If not, try testing the board with a new DLPA200.  Testing a new component will help us to determine whether the issue is specific to the device or your circuit board as a whole.

    Best Regards,

    Trevor

  • Hi JayJay Lee,

In talking to my colleagues, I have a suggestion for what may be causing your short.  Confirm that you are not connecting your power pad on the back of the DLPA200 to ground.  The thermal pad on the back of a DLPA200 chip is at V_Reset.  If this is connected to ground, it will show up as a short between V_Reset and ground.

    Trevor

  • Hi Jayjay,

I apologize, I misunderstood and I thought your question was resolved.  It sounds like there may be an issue with that particular DLPA200 part. To see if you can return the part, it is recommended that you contact your TI authorized distributor.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Best Regards,

    Trevor
