Gap length between two mirrors of DMD

Nobu-san,

The gap between the mirrors for the DMDs is approximately 1 um. From the tilt angle, it is possible to calculate a rough estimate of the height. This also comes out to be approximately 1 um (about 0.8um for the 3000/4500 and 1.14um for the 5500).

Detailed specs of the DMD are TI proprietary information and generally are not shared.

What is the application requiring this information?

This question is asked by our customer who is considering to design the 3D machine vision.
When they evaluate DMD with higher magnification lens, they are concerned about the gap between each mirrors.
That is why they are asking this question. I am asking whether your answer can be satisfied or not.

I got an additional question from our customer.

They want to know the length of the gap between each mirrors when each mirrors are flat state.
They also want to know the actual value not approximate value. They are saying that it is less than 1um according to their measuring.

Is it possible to provide these kinds of information?
