DLPC6401: How to work about "power down circuitry"of the DLPC6401

Part Number: DLPC6401
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00782, , TPS65145

Dears,

         1. How to work about "power down circuitry" In TIDA-00782 Schematic and Block Diagram (from DLPC6401).pdfTIDA-00782 Schematic and Block Diagram (from DLPC6401)?

          2. LVDS input in DLPC6401, whether to need external 100 Ω termination resistor?

  • Cris,

    1) I am assuming that you are asking about the Power Down Circuitry on page 6 of the schematics. This is to pull down the DMD voltages, Vbais, Voffset & Vreset, when the DMD_PWR_EN is pulled low. The DMD_PWR_EN is pulled when the unit is being powered down and also disables the TPS65145 power supply generating the voltages.

    2) No external resistors are needed. The receiver is 110 ohms impedance typical.
