In this case, the best next step would be to see if the DLPDLCR2000EVM drivers are not properly installed for whatever reason. In particular, you need to check whether the "cape overlay" associated with the device is properly loaded. See page 9 of this tutorial for assistance with this step:

If the cape overlay is NOT loaded, you can redownload it in this thread for reinstallation:

If the cape overlay IS installed and loads properly, then you will need to verify that all your video output software (such as X11) is properly installed. Before running the script, you should be able to see the BeagleBone desktop if your system is configured properly on the DLPDLCR2000EVM projector output.
