DLP2000: how are differences in LED brightness compensated for in the projector

I am using the DLP lightcrafter 2000 for research, and I was wondering how it accounts for differences in the LEDs. Does it correct in any way for this? If so, is it done through the current supplied to each LED or by changing the frequency of the mirrors for different colors. For example, if I wanted a Pure red image at 50% power, and then a pure green image at 50%, what is the system going to do to create these at the same brightness?

    During normal display the DMD mirrors will either be on or off. The DMD mirrors will be on for a specific duty cycle. If the mirrors are on for 50% of the time then you will have that color be displayed at 50% brightness. The mirrors are what normally change duty cycle to account for different display brightness.

    Additionally, LED currents can change. This is usually done to achieve different brightness across the entire image. It is not generally done on a frame by frame basis. This can be controlled via I2C commands sent to the DLPC2607.
