Hello,
customer evaluated the DLPLCR4500EVM. Now he wants to bring the DLP4500FQE on his own optics but it is glued inside the light engine. How to remove it? Or do you have any spare DLP4500FQE which the customer can use?

Hello Holger,

Information about the FQE package (also known as Series-241) can be found at www.ti.com/.../dlpa034.pdf. We also have a teardown of the unit at e2e.ti.com/.../278008. I do not think we have a guide to remove the DMD itself. It could probably be done; however, it will likely void the warranty.

Alternatively another DMD can be purchased at www.ti.com/.../samplebuy
