DLP6500FYE: Transmission curves out 1000nm

Part Number: DLP6500FYE

Hi I am currently working with a DLP6500BFYE.

Several months ago i was provided with a document highlighting the transmission curves of the different windows offered on the DMD devices.

1) Does the DLP6500BFYE use the Corning Eagle XG windoiw

2) Do similar curves exist for the for the reflectivity of the micromirrors out 1000nm?

I am trying to find out how efficient this DMD device is in the NIR

Thanks for your time!

  • Hello Alexander,

         1)   Yes, the glass for this part is Corning Eagle XG.  This can be found in the DLP6500FYE data sheet in § 6.12 Window Characteristics - on page 24.

         2)   The micromirrors are basically made of aluminum and you can use curves for the reflectivity of aluminum out to 1000 nm as a very good approximation.
