Part Number: DLPC6421

Hi Sir,

thank you.

best regards,

  • Hi Langston,

The DLPC6421 reference source code is not available on TI.com.

Are you working on developing a DLPC6421 system, or are you looking to modify settings of a DLPC6421 system purchased from a different company?

    Thanks,

    Brandon

  • Hello Langston,

Could you please clarify where you are seeing the reference to source code and what specifically you were looking to do?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

  • I have a document named "DLPC6421 Software Programmer’s Guide". I refer to this document for all I2C commands. If you guys do not have his document, may I know how do you know of I2C command of DLPC6421? I'm curious if I may get wrong document.

In this document, some data structures and functions name are mentioned. In section "3.4 I2C protocol", says "Figure 5 shows the I2C structure format and a partial I2C command table used in the reference source code. Only one byte commands are supported when using the I2C interface."

Actually, the problem I encounter is I cannot get I2C command send to DLPC6421 works, but every packet has get ACK from DLPC6421 (as attached JPG). the up figure is capture for I2C tracer, and the low figure is from "DLPC6421 software programmer's guide". If there is no ""DLPC6421 Software Programmer’s Guide", where can refer right I2C protocol and command of DLPC6421?

btw, can I get composer to trace I2C command of DLPC6421?

    thanks for your help.

    best regards,

    Langston

  • Hi Langston,

Thank you for adding additional information to your original post. The software programmers guide for the DLPC6421 is kept protected by licensing agreements, so we cannot post the commands on this public forum or share the information contained in the document with companies that do not have permission to view it.

We recommend you work with your optical engine supplier and/or system integrator to get the commands you are looking for.

    Thanks,

    Brandon
