Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP3010
I updated the firmware for the DLP3010 as the GUI software saying the current firmware does not meet the minimum requirement. The first two steps of flashing firmware was fine. However, right before the finish the verification in the step 3, I got the error message 'Firmware update failed, Release SPI interface failed'. In the Debug tab, it also says 'Get EVM operating mode error, Error while trying to gain access to the I2C bus'.
After turning off the power, and turning the project back on, I was able to see the splash screen. The project was able to be detected by the GUI software, and I can see information of the projector. However, I was not able project any test patterns. All I got was reddish, low brightness, uniform projection. Can anybody help? Thanks a lot!!!
