DLP4500NIR: Diffraction Efficiency plot

Hello Vincent,

The diffraction efficiency of  DLP4500NIR will be in range of 40% to low 50% for 1350-1450 nm wavelength. Please note that F/# of the system also play a critical role in efficiency.

Is there is specific wavelength and system configuration you are looking for?

Thanks for the quick reply. 

At the moment, I'm mainly interested in 1370 nm as the source for my system configuration. But I would also like to see the range for telecommunications wavelengths. Would it be possible to get the data points in an excel or csv file of the diffraction efficiency plot for 1310-1550nm and a table breakdown for F/2.4, F/1.7, F/3 like Table 6-1 on p.15?

The diffraction efficiency of DLP4500NIR DMD at 1370nm is ~53% with F/2.4 and ~44% with F/3.0 optics. The F/1.7 is large cone for 12 degree tilt mirrors. It will also catch the flat-state light reflected from the window of the DMD.

Thank you for the values at 1370nm. How about a plot with the 3 graphs for the range in 1310-1550nm similar to the plot on p.12?
