Hi TI expert,
Could you provide any typical values for contrast and brightness?

Hi Thomas,
DLP chipset is a combination of DLPC controller DMD and PMIC. DLP3010 can be use with DLPC3433 (or DLPC3438) controller and DLPA200x and DLPA3000 PMIC.
Depend on the chipset combination brightness will differ (PMIC can provide different current to LED), it also depend on the optical engine you may want to use for your application.
For example you can see our EVM based on DLP3010 chipset for reference : http://www.ti.com/tool/DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2
If you are interested to explore the optical engine, you may contact OEM suppliers (at this page you can see how much brightness they can offer): http://www.ti.com/dlp-chip/display-and-projection/pico-chipsets/buy-optical-engine/buy-optical-engine.html
Thanks,
Navneet
