DLP4500: Maximum Input Power

Could anyone point to a relevant apps note that contains a walkthrough of the calculations used to determine a maximum input power in W/cm^2 for the DLP 4500 device? I've seen numbers ranging from 25 W/cm^2 to 10mW/cm^2 dependent on wavelength for various other products, but would like to verify my own model and ensure I've got it correct.

    Are you referring to the DMD input power in the environmental specification? What wavelengths are you evaluating in your case?

          No, I am trying to understand and model the input illumination power limit for an FQD type device using a laser in the visible spectrum. I see that the W/cm^2 limit will be thermally limited(7.4- Illumination), but I don't have a great understanding of how much power will be absorbed by the DMD. Are there specific apps notes that contain the absorption spectrum for the mirrors/coatings?

    Thank you for  your patience. Unfortunately, we do not have application note on calculating maximum power input for a DMD device.  You are asking for 

    "how much power will be absorbed by the DMD" to develop your own model.

    The DLP4500 DMD is based on 7.5 micron pixel node. The typical  DMD efficiency for visible spectrum is around ~ 66-67%. For model purpose, I will assume loss is absorbed in the DMD i.e. 33-34% of incident light is absorbed in the DMD.
