DLP4500NIR: for mid-wave infrared applications

Hi there,

We need a DMD for the mid-wave infrared spectral region up to about 3.5 or 4 um wavelength. In the datasheet of DLP4500DLP, the window transmittance is reported up to 2.5 um. Do you have the transmittance values for the wavelengths up to 3.5 or 4 um? Is there any TI DMD available for the wavelengths up to 3.5 or 4 um?

HI Nima,

As you can find in the appnote in the link above TI done study up to NIR spectrum i.e., up to 2500nm. We don't have data for higher wavelengths if something is of your interest you want to conduct experiments on your own. Also please be aware of losing the device warranty if exposed to higher wavelengths than what is put in the datasheet spec.
