DLP6500FLQ: Inquiry about geometric parameters in terms of the fabricated micromirrors array

Hi Team,

Our customer wants to know these two geometric parameters in terms of the fabricated micromirrors array of DLP6500FLQ that is not available in the datasheet:

1. The datasheet shows the pitch for micromirror array is 7.56 um, what is the gap between each micromirror?

2. For some type of micromirrors, there is a hole in the center of single micromirror to connect to the hinge. Does DLP6500BFLQ have a similar design? If yes, what size is the hole in the center?

Jonathan,

Thank you for your patience. The DMD micro-mirror gap dimension and specific geometry is not something we can release to customers, but there is an application report: DMD Optical Efficiency for Visible Wavelengths that has information related to the mirror gap size. Please see sections 2.1 (On State Fill Factor 94% for the DLP6500FLQ), 5.1, and 6.1 for further information.
