DLP4710EVM-LC: blue and green LED disconnected firmware

I want to use the DLPC with the blue and green LEDs disconnected.

I've heard that the standard firmware does not work because the firmware confirms the connection with the LED.

So, could you provide a firmware that works even with the blue and green LEDs disconnected?

Will you be using TI's DLP4710EVM-LC evm? or design your own board for this purpose?

Yes, now I use DLP4710EVM-LC evm.

In near future, I'm going to design own board using DLPC3479. The board need only one LED.

Hi Goto,

In the case of EVM, you can disable the Red and Blue using Write RGB LED Enable command and there is no need to change the firmware.

Kindly let me know when your custom design is ready, I will share a modified firmware with you with only Red LED enabled.

Thank you for you reply.

I think I'd like to test if the board is run successfully without the green and blue LEDs (disconnect the LED line) at EVM before design the board.

So is it possible to provide a modified F/W early?
