DLP4710EVM-LC: GUI-tool : Trouble with splash pattern after executing internal pattern mode

Hi,

I am trying to switch splash screen mode after executing internal pattern displaying, but it does not work.

The screen showed flashing of last one in sequence of internal patterns, even though splash screen just work without executing internal pattern displaying.

Do I need to send any "clear" command for internal pattern mode? I checked programmers guide but I do not find any mention about this idea.

Firmware version is 8.1.0 and GUI-Tool version is 2.2.0.6 .

Welcome to TI E2E forums and thanks for showing interest in the DLP technology.

The issue which you are seeing is a known limitation. You will have to stop the internal pattern display before switching to the Splash mode.

Hi Mayank,

Based on your information, I send internal-pattern-cotrol command(0x9E) with stop option, but could not solve the issue.

I intend internal patterns to flash only once, not to repeatedly.

Can we have any workaround about this issue? One of our intended system requirements is to display splash pattern after internal pattern flashing.
