DLP9000: Theoretical maximum Contrast

Part Number: DLP9000

Do we have data regarding the theoretical maximum contrast for the DLP9000 (ANSI and Full-On/Full-Off Contrast)?

Any additional collateral regarding the optical properties?

The DLP9000 is specified down to 400nm.  Any data on operation under 400nm (e.g. 380nm)?

Thanks.

  • Hello Gregory,

The data sheet has some typical values.  There are assumptions about the f# and other parameters.  These values are very optical system dependent.

Although you can operate below 400 nm, we do not cover the DMD in such cases since operation below 400 nm is outside of the recommended operating conditions.

A good place to start for other collateral in a number of areas is:

Specifically look at the Application Notes and White Papers.

If you would like to share a little more about what you are attempting to accomplish and your requirements it may help.
