DLP9500: Tilt Mirror Uncertainty

Part Number: DLP9500

Hi Team,

Good day.

My customer is looking at the DLP9500 DLP® 0.95 1080p 2x LVDS Type A DMD datasheet and wanted to ask about the tilt mirror uncertainty. It is stated to be \pm 1 degree and I was wondering if the mirrors are normally distributed with a 1-degree uncertainty and if so what is the confidence interval for this measurement is it 60% confidence interval or 95% confidence?

He was really wondering what is the confidence interval on the angle tilt variation relative to the nominal landed tilt angle. The reason why he is asking because of low precision applications will usually specify 1\sigma (60 % confidence) whereas high precision usually specifies 3\sigma (99.5% confidence) and I was not sure where this measurement fell in?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Renan
