Thanks for the update.

One option you can try is to erase the complete flash memory and reload the Firmware. To do this you can follow below steps.

1. Delete the "FlashLoaderCache" folder.

2. Load the "DLPR900PROM-9000-v5.0.1-OOB" firmware using GUI.

This will erase and load the complete flash memory on both master and slave.

If problem is still not resolved, we need serial port debug logs to get understanding of what is happening in the system.

Here is the Test build with extra debugs enabled. You can load this build and capture debug logs on Both master and Slave controller and share it with us.
Referring to DLP® LightCrafter™ 6500 and 9000 Evaluation Module (EVM) User's Guide
Section "1.6 DLP LightCrafter 9000 Connections", J7 is the Master debug port and J17 is the Slave debug port.

DLPC900 UART header. Supports only output debug messages to terminal. The outputs
are 3.3-V TTL level and require an external transceiver to convert to RS232.
– Bits per second: 115200
– Data bits: 8
– Parity: None
– Flow Control: None
– Pin 1 = 3.3 V
– Pin 2 = TX out
– Pin 6 = Ground
