DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2: Issue with modifying flash image

We have a similar issue than reported in the link above.We are using DLP LightCrafter v7.4 and want to change the splash images. We tried to update the flash image but got errors (e.g. the image does not match the selected EVM type). We saw in the tread that the issue should have been resolved in future via an update of the firmware, is this true? Where can we find this update?

Thanks for your patience. If you wish to use firmware available from the FW selector tool with your EVM, we recommend loading the firmware using the Display and Light Control GUI: https://www.ti.com/tool/DLPDLC-GUI
