Part Number: DLPC4422
While trying to update the DLP660TE FPGA firmware, I believe I have erased the boot loader area of the DLPC4422 EVM board.
My mistake was to check "ASIC FLASH" instead of "SERIAL FLASH" in the Flash Loader menu. Now i can't connect to the board anymore.
How can I solve this issue ?
Thank you !
If you updated the ASIC fiash without "skip boot loader" checked (similar to the post referenced below), then you probably overwrote the entire flash.
As mentioned in the post referenced above, this is fixable via JTAG Boundary Scan using an inexpensive FTDI UM232H module (details on that in the post above).
I believe we have not yet posted the utility to update the flash via Boundary Scan on TI.com; I will send you a friend request and a private message with the information for that tool.
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.

I'm having a similar issue to the locked thread that you linked here. Can I also get the information for the tool mentioned?
In reply to Katya W:
Are you also using the DLPC4422 w/ DLP660TE or DLP470TE EVM?
What is the problem you are having?
Yes I'm also using the DLP4422 with DLP660TE. I was mistakenly trying to upload an image onto the DMD where it says upload flash image file and it saved over the boot loader so now I can't get anything to work.
I will contact you via private message to discus.
