DLPDLCR2000EVM: DLPDLCR2000EVM

Part Number: DLPDLCR2000EVM

Dear Sir/Miss,

We have a serious problem in projection part of DLPDLCR2000EVM.

There is no light coming out from the projection part. Even though, we connect with 5V connector, no light activated. Green light on the board is still on.

In my opinion, there must be a problem inside of projection part and it usually overheats while connecting with 5V connector.

I saw a similar problems happening in this forum and hope to change into new one.

  • Hi Yoo Jae Jun,

Welcome to the E2E forums and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

Please refer to the DLPDLCR2000EVM user's guide for the proper equipment for operation. If this issue was encountered after extended use, please describe in detail what modifications have been made before powering it on. If the board is getting hot after powering on, it is possible that some contacts are shorting together, which can be checked with a multimeter. If there is still an issue after troubleshooting, please post photos of your board setup to help us in debugging.

If you have purchased this EVM recently through ti.com, please refer to your warranty and contact customer support for exchanging information in order to receive a new EVM.

    Thank you,

    Chris
