DLPLCRC410EVM: DLPLCRC410EVM pre-loaded file

Part Number: DLPLCRC410EVM

Hi Team,

Customer bought DLPLCRC410EVM,

A test demo was originally solidified in it. But he has erased it without backup, as described below. How can the customer get it back? Are there any bit file or source code?

  • Hello Eric,

At this time we do not have a pathway set up to provide this PROM file.  This was the reason for this recommendation.

In the D4100 Explorer program directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\D4100Explorer by default) there is a *.bin file.  When starting the D4100 Explorer it will check the FPGA to see if the matching code is there, if not, it will load this bin file.  As long as you don't shut down power to the FPGA it will run the correct code.

I do not know if once the FPGA is programmed this way whether the *.bit file can be read from the FPGA.  If it can be saved from the FPGA then the *.bit file can be built into an *.mcs file targeting the XCF16 PROM.  The *.bin file listed above is not exactly the same as the *.bit file and cannot be used directly.
