DLPC3479: 8bit mono exposure time

Part Number: DLPC3479

If we operate 8bit monochrome patterns, should we configure 2084us - 4168us as exposure time? If we set exposure time:10000us with 8 bit patterns, is the sequence selected index#22? Does the index#22 have something problems when we display 8bit vertical/horizontal patterns?

  • Hello,

We will look into this and get back by middle of next week.

  • Uryyy,

For any particular type of pattern display - the sequence index which gets picked by the software is dependent on the exposure time for which the pattern is configured to be displayed. If the exposure time is out of the supported range - in that case the sequence which supports the largest exposure time range is picked by the software.

In case of monochrome internal pattern display for exposure time of 10000us  - the sequence which gets picked will be of index #20.

Kindly reach out to me if you see any problems in the internal pattern display with any of the sequence indexes that are supported.

    Regards,

    Mayank
