DLPC350: USB connection issue

Part Number: DLPC350

I have problem with connecting with DLP lightcrafter 4500 and computer.

I am using a 12V 5A power supply, but it is expected to be 12V 6A
I am using DLPLCR4500 GUI 4.0.0
I checked c184 ~1.2V and c71 ~3.2V (https://e2e.ti.com/support/dlp/f/dlp-products-forum/651321/dlpc350-light-crafter-4500-evm-doesn-t-connect-via-usb-red-led-on-back)
The red light and green light both show up
J18 and J30 I tired jumper but nothing happening. (https://e2e.ti.com/support/dlp/f/dlp-products-forum/306191/dlp4500-can-t-connect-to-the-computer)
computer does not even recognize the device, I do not see anything from device manager.

Easy solution : return it and get a new one.

Welcome to the E2E forums and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.

It does sound like something may be wrong with your EVM. When did you purchase it? If it is still under warranty it may be worth inquiring about a replacement. Was the system ever working or is this out-of-the-box behavior?

I think we bought it so long time ago ~2014, so I doubt we have a warranty left. Thank you!

Hello Saesun,

It is very old version of EVM and since then t has gone couple of changes. We don't have this version of the hardware with us.

I would strongly recommend to use one of latest version of EVM and tools ex. DLCP3470X EVM-LC.
