Hi,

Following the discussion in this paper (aip.scitation.org/.../1.4973969), I want to stop mirror flickering by a MOSFET (BSS138) based on the triggering signal comes from DLPC3000 by connecting MCP (Mirror Clocking Pulse) signal to the ground. To repeat the approach done in the mentioned paper which was done in DLPC6500 I need to find the corresponding test point (TP) on my own DLP light crafter (LightCrafter DLP3000, you see the image above). My question is which testpoint is corresponding to the signal which controls Mirror Clocking Pulse (MPC)?

Hello Mahmood,

Which testpoint was used in the DLP6500? Was it the DLP6500 EVM? If you know the exact test point that was used we can better look into what test point may be usable in the DLP4500 EVM.

Hi Kyla,
The test point for DLP6500 is TP14 (mentioned in this paper: arxiv.org/.../1611.03397 ).
I am looking for corresponding testpoint in lightCrafter DLP 3000 (www.ti.com/.../DLPLIGHTCRAFTER)

Hello Mahmood,

It looks like you will want TP29. You can see this in the driver board schematic (you will need to download the reference design at www.ti.com/.../dlp3000-c300ref.

Hi Kyle,

I have found TP29, however, there was no silkscreen on the board but I found it through the connection to DMD (J3). but the signal coming out from TP29 is not synchronized at all with the signal that I see from DMD flickering (I have photodiode monitoring the diffracted light from DMD while I am uploading a full white image). To be sure that I am picking the right test point, I would like to have access to DLPC900 chipset reference design to compare it with paper (arxiv.org/.../1611.03397) that it has shown it works.

Do you know how can I find this information?
