DLPLIGHTCRAFTER: LightCrafter GUI does not find projector

Part Number: DLPLIGHTCRAFTER

Hi,

I have a DLP LightCrafter 2010 EVM, and I am trying to use the LightCrafter GUI to change the LED currents on the board.
I installed DLP LightCrafter Display v7.0. After launching the application, it does not seem that it is able to communicate with my board. I get an error message saying "Error: No projector files could be found. Please contact a TI Application Engineer". (see the attached screenshot)

Could you help me fix this? Am I missing some drivers? Or do I not have the right version of the software?

Thank you,

cecile

  • Cecile,

Welcome to the E2E forums, and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.

If you launch the LightCrafter GUI directly via the .exe, the application will not load a .projector file as a schema. This projector file is important for populating the GUI with commands to use. Be sure to use one of the installed shortcuts to launch the GUI.

Let me know if you continue to have issues.

    Best Regards,

    Philippe Dollo

  • Thank you Philippe.

I think it did not install properly on my computer as I couldn't get the shortcut, but it did work on a different computer.

    Best regards,
