Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC3430
Hello
I'm about to start my electronic degree project and I have been looking over the idea of this the DLP2010 a few times but never had the time to play with it.
With that said my project idea would be to create a DPL2010 driver and display card to output simple text and graphics using a microcontroller like the Atmega 328 via bluetooth , think of it as a open source Google glass that your average Joe can enjoy :).
The main reason for this post is to get some advice and even double checking of the driving of the DLP2010.
Below I have quickly created a simple block diagram of the system I could use to drive the DLP2010:
Note: The SSD1960 has a maxium resolution of 800 x 600 so I will be losing 54 bits, if anyone knows of a display controller that could interface to the micro-controllers SPI to the DLPC3430 that would be great.
With that said I have looked at FPGA's but I don't have enough time and money to get the correct equipment (programmers etc) together.
Any input is welcome :)
Thank you for your time.
Ben W
