DLPC2607: Where I can find specification and data structure of the contour mitigation look-up table (CMT)?

Part Number: DLPC2607
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP2000

Hi,

Where I can find specification and data structure of the contour mitigation look-up table (CMT)?

Thanks.

  • Lin,

The CMT LUT is dynamically generated based on the input sequences used by the system. As such they are typically not intended to be manually modified in memory. What are you trying to do with your system?

  • Dear Philippe,

    Thank you for your reply.

According to the documents, I need a special CMT table in order to disable spatial dithering.

Now, I am not satisfied with the complex interfaces provided by the DLPC controllers and want to create a simple one with FPGA.
Is it possible to controll the DMD with FPGA?

    Thanks.

  • Lin,

If you are capable of writing to the flash via SPI or the DLPC2607 via I2C then you could feasibly rewrite the flash with an FPGA system using either protocol. However, I am not sure we support disabling spatial dithering on the DLP2000 at this time. I will inquire for you.
