When I try to load the Jungo USB driver to work with a C5505 CSL 2.1 demo, I get the following:
G Basile,
The one you have downloaded is a 32-bits version. We will generate a 64-bits version for you shortly.
Greg,
I proposed to purchase the Jungo license to add this support. I will ping the request again.
Greg,
A 64-bit OS should be backward compatible. To start and open a 32-bit command prompt, follow these steps:
Alternatively, press Win + R keys (or type Run in Start Search) to open Run dialog, and type %windir%\SysWoW64\cmd.exe.
In 32-bit command prompt, the %programfiles% path variable will point to Program Files (x86) folder which stores all 32-bit binaries.
Then follow the same instructions as in readme1st.txt file.
It did ont work for me. Here is the result:
L:\Lablaptop\UsbBoot\USB_EP_installation>wdreg -inf C5505USB_EP_driver.inf install
WDREG utility v10.10. Build Sep 2 2009 12:19:52
Error: Cannot run an x86 build of this utility on x64 platform.
Error: Initializing driver failed
I also tried it with %windir%\system32\cmd.exe and got the same result.
Any other ideas. (I am able to run on 32 bit machines without a problem.)
This utility is built on 32-bits. On Windows 7, use this instruction to run in 32-bit mode:
To start and open a 32-bit command prompt, follow these steps:
1. Click Start.
2. Type %windir%\SysWoW64\cmd.exe in Start Search box.
Alternatively, press Win + R keys (or type Run in Start Search) to open Run dialog, and type %windir%\SysWoW64\cmd.exe.
3. Press Enter.
I followed the above instructions and it did not work.
I am trying this on a 64 bit XP machine.

The Jungo USB driver was developed for 32-bit OS. Sorry we don't have plan for a 64-bit version.
