Hi,
Can anyone tell me what type of routing protocol the 868MHz 6LoWPAN kit with Sensinode's NanoStack uses for mesh routing?

Hi,

Did you see that page: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC-6LoWPAN#Routing_Protocol_RPL_.28.22Ripple.22.29?
Regards,
Maciej
Ah, thank you. Is this a modified version of RPL or pure RPL as defined by IETF? You see, I am trying to estimate the power consumption of a 6lowpan mesh, and need to gain knowledge of the exact parameters involved.
Wilhelmsen,
Sorry but I do not know that. I have never worked with 6lowpan. I guess the best way is to get the kit and measure power / look into source.
Best of luck with your application,
Maciej
Thanks Maciej,
The problem at hand will be strictly theoretical, so I won't be able to measure any power usage.
Even so, I'll guess a good estimate can be done by assuming RPL routing protocol.
Christian,
I hope and think you got answers to your questions using the other channels. Please let us know if not.

Hi Jonas,
Yes, I have been in contact with both TI and Sensinode and gotten very useful information and proper assistance.
