Linux: gstreamer.ti.com broken link

Tool/software: Linux

gstreamer.ti.com link doesnt work....

  • yoctojohn,

Can you please give a bit more background? What do you expect to find on this website? Where are you finding a link to it?

    Thanks.
  • Thanks RonB,

When I try to build META-TI layer using YOCTO, it tries to fetch ti-dmai_svn and gstreamer_ti from gforge.ti.com however this link is not working so I receive a fetch error. TI supports the Yocto project but it seems that they dont keep the necessary links alive... gforge.ti.com and gstreamer.ti.com links are dead

  • yoctojohn,

Thanks, that helps a bunch. I looked at the recipes and indeed these projects were hosted on our Gforge server. That server was decommissioned a while back and that certainly explains why you can't get to the files.

I'm guessing you are trying to build for an older product. For example, gstreamer-ti was removed from Arago a while back as it hadn't been touched in years. The same with DMAI, although it hasn't been officially removed.

I'm trying to find an archive of the Gforge data that I might be able to put somewhere else. This may take me a while and I can't guarantee I'll be successful. Please give me some time to sort through this.
  • yoctojohn,

I've secured access to the code. I can provide it to you privately if that will meet your needs. I'm not sure at this time if we will pursue continuing to host these as repos.

Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.
