Hello,

The DSP/BIOS Driver Development Kit product bulletin (sprt261.pdf) says that the Driver Development Kit can be downloaded from this old non-functional link: www.ti.com/driverdevkit. I am looking for the DSP/BIOS McBSP UART driver source code. Can anyone tell me where to find it?

Have you looked at the chip support library available here:
www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware
if you click on the CSL link you will be redirected to this site:
http://www.ti.com/tool/sprc090
You can see in the Features section of the sprc090 link that there are MCBSP & UART driver.

Thanks for your reply. SPRC090 is the CSL only. I am looking for DSP/BIOS support on top of the CSL. This would include support for mutex or semaphone protection of the drivers for use in a DSP/BIOS multitasking environment. TI doc sprt261.pdf ( = DSP/BIOS Driver Development Kit product bulletin) says that the DDK complements the Chip Support Library (CSL), and the Driver Development Kit can be downloaded from this old non-functional link: www.ti.com/driverdevkit " Can you help me locate the DDK?

More specifically, I'm looking for the DSP/BIOS -capable support, that configures the McBSP to act as a standard UART. That should be typical configuration of the McBSP, and it seems that a solution should exist somewhere in TI's archives.

One more note: SPRA882A ("DSP/BIOS Hardware and Software UART Device Drivers") describes the implementation of a DSP/BIOS device driver for both hardware UARTs and software simulated UARTs. Filenames are called out, including :

uarthw_c6x1x_mcbsp.l62 for the TMS320C671x Software UART

but the actual source is not included in that document. Can you help me locate these files in the TI archive?
