Hi,

I am looking for example code on c64xx DSP to work McBSP to interface to a TDM stream of T1-PRI (24 time slots) and management of time slots dynamically. I am also looking for EDMA / QDMA assigned to this McBSP. Where can I get one?

Are you using BIOS? If so, which version?

Are you using the PSP sottware?

Hi David,

I am using now CCS 5.1 on c6424 EVM. I think it contains BIOS 6.32.4.49 version. I can import a project from lower versions. Pl. advise.

I get some warning on PSP when I link with available versions. Maybe PSP is no longer supported on CCS 5.1?

Can you please specify the PSP (which contains the driver code and the examples) version which you are using? Does this PSP supports SYS/BIOS (i.e BIOS 6, which you have mentioned in the previous post)?

OK I installed PSP 2.0.00.1, CCS 5.1 tools recognized. Can you advise on McBSP+EDMA? I do not see any examples for these McBSP?

Can you pl. provide any example project on using McBSP for TDM slots management and EDMA to access selected timeslots.

Hi Hari,

Unfortunately, we do not have McBSP driver for SYS/BIOS. If you are specific about the SYS/BIOS, then sorry to say that i can not help you.

If you are interested in McBSP configuration and the McBSP sample, then, we have a DSP/BIOS PSP which has all of these. Here is the link, please download the BIOS PSP 1.30.01 and install it. Please read the release note/userguide before using the driver. It has the McBSP driver/sample for C6748 and the OMAPL138.
