[FAQ] [ALERT] New TI store API features available

On July 11, Our TI suite of APIs received an update with two new features -TI Store Checkout profile (COP) API and Future inventory.

Checkout profile (COP) API: This API makes it easier for our customers to use active checkout profiles when completing an Order API request.
Previously, a developer would need to manually create, download, and store checkout profile IDs to a customer's local system.
Now, with the COP API, customers can generate and select active checkout profiles independently and confidently.
This API also allows you to generate the full details of a checkout profile. View on portal

Key benefits

  • One time developer setup - Save time and money on development.
  • Only active checkout profiles will generate - if a team member adds/edits a checkout profile, the COP API will show you only what is currently available.
  • View checkout profile details without visiting TI.com.

Future inventory - Inventory and pricing API enhancement, Future inventory is adding two new data points.

Customers will now receive the estimated time and quantity of inventory replenishment per product when sending an API request. Please note that the estimated time is not exact but will provide customers an approximate date to plan with. Also, to note: these data points may not be available for every product. View on portal

Key benefits

  • Greater knowledge of product replenishment - Customers can plan ahead depending on their needs and our numbers.
  • No need to wait for a "back in stock" notification - Customers get exclusive information on TI's inventory for a quicker purchase.
