TI-API: Checkout profile

Hi, 

Developing API interface to post Order data.   

For some reason TI system doesn't allow us to complete the information to create Checkout profile and get the Checkout ID. 

In Tax Information section the dropdown is empty.

    Already looked at the FAQ section before asking here. 

    There is no answer to that question there. 

    The dropdown list for Tax ID is empty. How can we have it fixed?

    I resent a friend request to you so that we could try and resolve this privately.  In the meantime, I'll try to help based on what the information you've given me so far.

    Can you confirm that you are creating a corporate account (not a personal account)?

    Can you confirm that you have added a Tax ID to your account?  From the picture you provided, it looks like you're creating a checkout profile, and part of the information that must exist before you can complete this setup, is adding at least one tax ID.   Below is a picture of what to look for and the steps to do this.

    Yes, the account is a corporate account (not a personal account). 

    Company name is: Umeantech. 

    Tax ID already was added to the account. 

    We develop Order API interface and need the Checkout Profile ID for that.

    Yes, I understand the need for the checkout profile id for API usage.    I'm working with our team to try and determine the problem.  Will continue to communicate with you in a private threead.

    I see that you have a checkoutprofile ID and it looks good on our side.  Can you confirm if you are still having problems?

  • Where can I see the Checkout Profile ID other than the Checkout profile section? 

    I am attaching a screenshot of what I see now in your web site. 

    The first column, for ID, is empty.

    Thank you for being patient and for working with me.   Congrats - you've have uncovered a problem! :)      We have been able to to reproduce it and show it our developers.  We believe it's a validation problem associated with the tax id#.  We have a developer investigating it and I should have an update for you on tomorrow.  In the meantime, if you wanted to move forward with placing an order you can do so, by placing it on the web at TI store.  A couple of notes:

    1.  If you place your order on the web you will need to use a credit card or Apruve
    2. In your checkout profile id that you create, you'll need to update it with the Apruve info. 

     I've attached a couple of pics to help guide you.  Otherwise, you can wait for my update on tomorrow to see when we can have a fix available.

    Per our discussion, we discovered that your tax ID# is invalid.  Please correct or create a new tax record with a valid tax id#.   Format expected was sent in a private message.   Thanks!

    I really don't understand that answer. 

    Why is it invalid?! 

    This is the number the Israel Tax Authority gave our company. 

    Our tax ID number is 5135****8.  (some of the digits replaced for privacy). 

    What else should we use instead?

    I wanted to provide you with an update.  Our development team is in the process of making the needed changes that will allow you to use your TaxID with your corporate checkout profile that you were trying to create.  I will keep you posted on when these changes are in production.
