TI-API: Should orders created on the website also be visible trough the API

Part Number: TI-API

Hi,

We where wondering:

We managed to create (test)orders, and query these, however we don't see any information about orders we created trough the TI Store.
Is this by  design, or is something not working as expected?

Kind Regards,

John Belmer

  • Hi John!

It's me ... again!  Slight smile

The order history API only retrieves "production" orders  (in TI Store or using the GET orders API).  All of your orders are still test, so, nothing is returned.  I tried supplying a date range and no date range... same results... API successfully executes, with empty payload.  So, it is behaving as designed.  Let me know if you have other questions.

  • Hi Faye,

Thank you for your reply. Actually I do get information about the test orders back, see below:

isProductionOrder is set to false, stating correctly this is a test order.

However, I do NOT see our PRODUCTION orders send by the purchase department, but I do understand from your reply they should be visible?

What i'm going to do is double check at the purchase department they are using the same (new) account for buying in the TI-Store, or are still using the old account. I'll come back on that tomorrow.

    Kind regards,

    John Belmer

  • John,

If the order was created using the API (prod or test), it will show when you use this query.  I am double-checking to see if the orders created in TI Store will also be visible if you use the API.  I should know shortly.  At present, I only see the test orders.   I am also sending you a friend request.  Please join it.  It will allow us to discuss sensitive information in a private exchange.  Thanks!

  • Hi John,

The API should retrieve all production orders from the following ordering channels.  We need to update our spec to reflect this. Sorry for the confusion.

    Regards,

    Faye
